Do we use BS-VI fuel in BS-IV?
There is less possibility that affects the petrol engine which doesn’t mean it not affect. But it affects majorly the diesel engine. The Sulphur content is very less in BS-VI petrol so it affects the fuel injector in the cylinder, performance of the engine and other parts present in the diesel engine due to the lack of lubrication.
Do we use BS-IV fuel in BS-VI?

The parts such as OBC (Onboard Diagnostics), RED (Real Driving Emission) and SCR (Selective Catalytic Technology) present in the BS-VI engine is very prone/sensitive to the Sulphur content of the diesel which leads the high level of damages in the engine parts above mentioned that require to spend huge money to repair or replace.
